Unhappy RH 8 Cable Server issue
I am running RedHat 8 + Apache 2.0 and trying to serve web pages on a mediocre cable modem (just practicing).

I have www.occum.com forwarded to my i.p. address, it loads instantly in my web browser when I put in occum.com in mozilla, but nobody elses (you can try). RH will not let me adjust the security setting away from high, or customize them, as when I do it reverts back next time I open the settings window. I don't even know what program that is, it won't drag to a terminal window to display a path. I have added access to the directory in my httpd.conf file also, so that should not be the prob.

If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it

hi occum. I saw this before and wished I could help but didn't have anything... I would just like to add that I have the same exact problem with the security settings, does anyone know anything about this?? I would like to be able to have incoming SSH / SMTP / POP3... it looks like a fix for the security setting thing would help us both (it looks like you still have your problem too, occum). Any ideas? Even something on disabling that firewall all together, if nothing else, would be good, so another one could be used...
