Heh guys,

Where is the file to make a RH 9.0 machine join a workgroup.

If you installed Samba during the RH9 install, you should be able to browse the computers in your workgroup.

Normally, the smb.conf file specifies the workgroup value (typically, workgroup = your-chosen-workgroup in the global section). On my (slackware) system, this file is in /etc/samba (although RedHat is probably different). Try the command (as root): find / -name "smb.conf" to see where this file appears on your system.
