Run mandrake from cd
Where can I get a copy of a version of mandrake that will boot from the cd. I want it for my old cirix 6x86 mx box. I cant install windows 98 for some reason. Im a total newb to linux. I know nothing. All I know is that mandrake is easy and there are some versions of linux that will boot from cd and not install. I wanna try that. Whats the minimum sys memory to run linux from cd. If not. Can anyone point me to a copy of mandrake that will install on a box with no OS?

Here is a list of Live Linux CD distributions. Basically the minimum system requirements is to have as much memory as possible. The more memory you have the better they run because everything is loaded into memory. I have seen some of them run on as little as 64mb of ram but I recommend to have at least 128.
