Exclamation Redhat 8 Partition
[SIZE=4][FONT=arial][COLOR=royalblue]
I have a Squid Proxy Server running Redhat 8. I just installed a new Maxtor 18Gig. When I boot up I get a error message that says that I don't have a fixed drive. I know what it means but I don't have a partition manager for redhat that boots off a floppy. e-mail me at my e-mail address if you know any partition manager for redhat that boots off a floppy.

So are you saying that once you put the new drive in your system that the machine will not bootup. If you take the drive back out will the machine boot up. I am assuming you are adding this new drive to your existing system.

IDE or scsi? If you're adding a drive instead of replacing a drive it shouldnt prevent booting the existing drive.
