gnucash-1.8.7 installation problem
Hello,

I am trying to install gnucash-1.8.7. I got as far as this:

[root@localhost ]# cd gnucash-1.8.7
[root@localhost gnucash-1.8.7]# ls
ABOUT-NLS COPYING macros
acconfig.h debian Makefile.am
accounts doc Makefile.DEPS
acinclude.m4 gnucash-config.in Makefile.in
aclocal.m4 gnucash.lsm make-gnucash-patch.in
AUTHORS gnucash.m4 make-gnucash-potfiles.in
ChangeLog HACKING missing
ChangeLog.1 INSTALL mkinstalldirs
confdefs.h install-sh NEWS
config.cache intl po
config.guess intl-scm README
config.h.in intltool-extract.in README.patches
config.log intltool-merge.in rpm
config.rpath intltool-update.in src
config.sub lib stamp-h.in
configure ltmain.sh TODO
configure.in m4
[root@localhost gnucash-1.8.7]# ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for non-GNU ld... no
configure: error: no acceptable ld found in $PATH

As you can see, I got this error. I have no idea what this means. If you can help me, that would be great. I have Redhat 8.0. and gnucash-1.6.6-7 installed. Do I need to uninstall gnucash-1.6.6-7 before installing gnucash-1.8.7?
