install files
Im new to linux, and i can get an rpm installed, but after that im lost again. ive tried installing various things, but after the install of the rpm is done im not sure where to look for it, or what to type in the terminal to start it up.
im using RH9 if that makes a difference.

Did you read the readme file? Also, post what software you're trying to get installed.
