customize graphical login screen
I am using SuSe Linux 7.0 pro. Is it possible to customize the graphical login screen? Or are there any websites to download themes for the login screen?

I am new to linux, so please bare with me.

If you can find out what display manager suse uses (Which is usually related to the Desktop Environment) then we can help you. Most likely it will either be KDM, GDM, or XDM. I belive that there is also ADM, but i dont know anything about it.

im almost positive its XDM. How would I check to make sure?

Under SUSE? i wouldnt know. You might try finding out what script is used in boot and check inside that, or try yast.

im prety sure its XDM as I had to edit a file under the XDM directory to change something

If you run kde I think you can open the KDE Control Center>System>Login Manager to customize the login screen.
For the file you want look in /usr/X11R6/lib/xdm.

Sry fopr the delay - i didnt get a chance to go onto my linux comp untill today, but this is exactly what I wanted!!!
