Graphical mode in Red hat 9
I install Red Hat Linux 9.0 with typical installation. At the booting time it shows everything ok but after login to the root in non - graphical mode, I write "startx" then it shows following error. Please tell me what's the problem. And how to boot in Graphical mode.

Well as you can see from the searches it is a common problem that can be caused by one of many factors. Since you do not include information such as video card, monitor, refresh rates, resolution, drivers, etc, etc, etc

...the only answer you are going to get is to check out the causes and see which apply to your situation.

I didn't know that Nvidia made an 8mb Geforce 4. My Geforce 2 had 32mb. I dont think they would go backwards.
