RPM/Source with Apache Question
Hello!
Installing apache-1.3.29-2 ( not the latest one) on a
RHL 8 & although some dependencies have been fixed,
I've reached a "dead end" with these two dependecies:
lsb is neded by apache...
ld-lsb.so.1 is needed by apache..
Have look in the Internet & have tried to install LSB
to glibc, glibc-base, as well as
redhat-lsb-1.3-1.i386, etc & nada.
How is it possible to fix or install this dependency?
Wil install a binary or source solve this dependency
thing?
Thanks so much!

One thing you might want to see is if you can get apt for rpm for your system. It will try to auto solve depencies and might help you get past this.

Thanks!
Was not aware apt could be installed in RHL.
I think RPMs in general depend on dependicies
I just installed the binary version & eveything is copacetic so far!
Thanks again!
