Knoppix-STD/Airsnort
ok i have Knoppix on a bottable CD. it came with airsnort. i want to see if airsnort really works for myself. i want to try to get into my network with one of my computers that is not configured for my network. anyway, when i try to use it it tells me to put my wireless card in monitor mode. What the heck is that? Can someone help me out? Thanx. Any help is appreciated.

BTW - I AM NOT A HACKER/CRACKER whatever. I just want to see if this program really works.

Thanx.
