Kernel install made mouse go wonky
I just installed the 2.6.1 kernel on my debian woody system. Since i have made the install, my tap to click and drag features have disappeared, and all of a sudden i find that the mouse is very difficult to use. Anyone else had this problem, or have any suggestions to fix this. I am going to try the synaptics touchpad driver (btw, this is a laptop) and see if that helps, though i am not quite sure if my touchpad is synaptics. Oh, and since i am cramming stuff into this topic.... how does one unistall stuff that has been installed from source. I have been using linux for a while now, and still havent quite figured that out.
