how buggy is mandrake 9.2??
just installed mandrake 9.2..also had 9.1,,and 9.2 seems to be a mess....cant update base packages in rpm drake..it says no rpms and stuff about cannot find synopthesis and hdlist..something like that//and i know cds work because tested them under 9.1 and ,9.1 was able to scan cd and update ..so i know cds are good..and then menu itmes just dissappear and are gone..i thought mandrake 9.2 was a stable release..? or is it just me..or have they put new isos on sight..i bought mine off some guy on ebay..i dont have broad band and its convienient just to pay 5-6 $ for it....tried mandrake 9.1 suse 9.0 and will be trying red hat 9..so far suse 9.0 seems to be the best..comes with alot of software on a 5 cd set//yast seems to be a litte slow loading up..even on a pentium 4 with 512 memory....but all in all suse 9.0 is pretty damn good..
