SInce we all know how much you can customize your WM's and etc. I thought it might be nice for us to all give links (no actual images, so 56k users won't cry fowl) to what your current desktop looks like, and perhaps explain what you're running.

I'm running Gnome obiviously
With gdesklets going (only one window right now gotta figure out how to do multiple. Considering it took me a few hours to even get it running i'm happy with that.
The background is a modification of a anime character. Her name is Nayuki and comes from Kanon, my all time favorite show, just she's in a catgirl form.
And of course X-chat for IRC
