Slackware Multiuser question
I'm fairly new to Slackware, but first off, I've fallen in love with it! Anyway, I'm going to make a few different users on Slackware. What permissions should I and shouldn't I give them. Basicly, I don't want them to have /root access, and not be able to change the system. They will be able to run programs, email, and web surf. Also, this may sound retarded, but I want them to be able to shutdown the computer with either the shutdown command or the telinit command.

You wont have to change much. Perhaps the best way to go about this would be to install sudo, and edit sudos settings so that a select list of people are allowed to issue shutdown. The default security settings should be fine otherwise.
