Exclamation Knoppix.. Keyboard issues? [Solved. More Questions]
For some reason my keyboard wont type in the knoppix console after I hit enter (thanks every1 who helped me get it running u guys r the best). Im baffled to why... it works before i hit enter

What are you typing? A command?
Is it running from the CD/ram or did you do the hard drive install?
Try ctrl-c or type q.

All is well and boy is this KDE nice. WindowsX is cool. Im very satisfied with this. I havent figgured out how to make my sound card work yet, but i assume the video card works cause I see stuff . Is all the software Knoppix comes with listed under the K button or is there more they arent showing? Im eager to know how to use this OS its 'wiked cool'

(it's X Windows, not that it matters ) Glad to hear you like knoppix, that's one of my favorite linux distros, I'm amazed they ever call it a "demo." If you want to see something cool, type "aa" (or maybe it's "bb"... anyway, it's in the menu somewhere) in a terminal, answer one or two questions, and watch. Ever see ASCII do that before?

(Do it in a full screen terminal for the best effect)


(EDIT: and pretty soon it might not be X (xfree86, really) at all, anybody following the "y-windows" thing? I'm all for a newer system, and it looks promising...)
