now this one is a bit of a problem Raccoon...because limewire is a known p2p application and the basis of p2p programs is to get stuff illegally.

I personally consider installing to be using them so.... -.-
However setting the java enviroment involves knowing the location of where you installed java.
PATH="$PATH:/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_03/bin:."
export PATH
that's the format you want to use to set it so other things will recognize the java as being there to.
