Dang networks...
This may be a thread for the internet area, but im thinking its more of a linux problem. Alright, ive been working to get Caldera Openlinux 2.2(an old version from 1999) working on an old compaq computer. Sofar, its been going fairly well. My biggest problem at the moment is getting the internet to work. Since we run on Cox Highspeed, i'm thinking i'll want to get a network set up. I've tried to get it, but its not going. Besides, im not too great with getting networks and internet connections going. I would use the installation CD that comes with the high speed, but it uses exe files from what i can see, and this system only accepts rpm's.

Last night someone in the chat room started helping me out, but we had to stop. Can anyone help get this network online?

BTW, i am a new at linux
