BootLoader Trouble
I want to keep my Windows boot loader but i need to know what parameters should i add to boot.ini to get it to load?

afaik you can't add a linux boot option to the windows boot.ini to get it to run.

If you are using an NT-based version of Windoze (i.e., not 98 or earlier), you can use NTLDR to multi-boot. You can find instructions at http://jaeger.morpheus.net/linux/ntldr.php

Actually yes you can add a bootloader in boot.ini ... but u don't need to just use Grub as your boot loader and you should be fine

It is a big deal to edit NTloader to include one Linux.

Either Lilo or Grub can boot as many systems as you want and Window is regarded as just one of the choices.

If you don't want anybody to touch your MBR just make Window partition inactive and boot straight a Linux in the primary partition.

To include any operating system in Linux it is a job of adding 2 lines in Lilo or 3 lines in Grub.

If the Linux is installed after the Window then you can expect Linux boot menu to have picked up Window automatically.
