Question libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3
Hi,

Would like to know how I can install libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 on my Mandrake linux machine?

I googled it and came away none the wiser, as I'm relatively new to linux, and the answers seem quite advanced. Any one know a plain english answer?

Thanks

Bengaul

Open Mandrake Control Center and do a search in the Software Management utility. They are probably on the CDs.

And you're looking for libstdc++

The rest is version and libc type.

Bengaul,
I'm Suse, in my case that library is at
compat-2003.5.12-60.i586.rpm

not sure about Mandrake but seems Whiteskin is right: you need something like libstdc++-2.95.2-12mdk.i586.rpm.
Check it out http://www.mail-archive.com/linux-us.../msg09487.html

hope it helps
