Shell scripting and C
Could anybody tell me if it's possible to embed C code in a shell script? I need to know it and I've been searching in google with no success.

I presume you mean UNIX shell script and the answer is no. You can, however, "shell out" of a C program and run a DOS command.

I neglected to mention that it is frequent to see C programs in UNIX Shell Scripts. To avoid shell proliferation the program is always executed in the current shell with the . prefix.
