i wanted to duel boot my new computer and i was just wondering wat is the best version of Linux??

I really hate questions like this, as they show a real lack of initiative. What do you want to do? 'Best distro' Depends on what is your purpose with using linux. What Kind of computer. What kind of experiance.

Perhaps reading the faq would answer a few of your questions first. But to answer..for the beginner in linux. Fedora, Knoppix, suse...any live cd so you don't ahve to dual boot right away and just try it out when you want to

Thanks. I needed that one. Yes, a liveCD is probably your best bet here. Especially if you're learning linux. While saving can be difficult with a live cd, you definitely learn something each time you boot one.
