Wireless setup
Help!! I have a Dell Infineon laptop with the Fedora 2 Core. I have a Netgear wireless router in my home, connected to a system that is running Windows XP. I'm using driverloader to get the OS to recognize my wireless card, which it does. I'm using dhcp to obtain an IP address, and have it binding to a probed MAC address. Transmit rate is set to auto.

When I attempt activate the network, I get the following error: "Cannot activate eth1:1; Error for wireless request 'Set Mode' (8B06); SET failed on device eth1:1; Invalid argument. Determining IP information for eth1:1...SIOCSFFLAGS: Cannot assign requested address."

Any ideas what I should do now?

You are using iwconfig right?
And is this the trial, or the bought version of driverloader. I have no experiance in either, however, i'd just like to know.

I am using the purchased version of driverloader. An additional note: it works fine on the wireless network in my office; there's something about either (a) the way I have it configured for home; or (b) my home wireless network, that is causing the problem. Still begging for ideas...
