Until you d/l a bad iso .
But I belong to not only the lazy club but the forgetful club, as well. I dont always check either, but that's how I joined the latter.
But I always tell people the right way.....you know: Do as I say!...not as I do.

Try typing these commands to find those apps:
Code:
whereis program
which program 
If you type echo $PATH you get a result like this:
/usr/bin
:/bin
/usr/local/bin
/usr/X11R6/bin
/usr/games
/home/username/bin
/opt
And you can look in those directories for user-installed apps.

my way to get a list of programs that fit what I want is 'locate **** | grep bin'
