I'm having a problem with downloading/coping ISO files to make adisc for any Linux program. I either have the "Dell burner that came instaled with my Dell computer or a product called Sonic. sonic indicates it can burn ISO files but when I try it the file shows on the CD but I can't seem to use it.

I know I'm doing something stupid but alas can't figure it out.

you need to burn it as an image. The best bet on how to do this is download the nero trial, and use it's Burn Image option. Just be sure to set the file type to show ISOs.

If you have Windows XP, try using the ISO Recorder Power Toy.

I am happy to support lwd's program. Use that one for burning iso files in xp.

Awesome. Have fun with linux and get a good idea of it you may want to install it one day. Give thanx to lwd too b/c he reminded me of it. I've had it so long i took it for granted forgetting it was an extra to the OS lol.
