GCC and G++ comes with every Linux Distro. Redhat has them as well. If you have installed gcc and g++ on your system, try

$ gcc foo_baz.c
to compile C code, gcc --help for list of options

$ g++ foo_baz.cpp
to compile C++ code, g++ --help for list of options again

As far as Java is concerned you need to download JDK from www.sun.com or www.blackdown.org
gcj works but it doesn't have complete support.
