sed and ^^ ASCII(30)
I am trying to remove with sed a double ^ or ASCII(30) RS ^^

sed s/\^^\//g file1 > file2

This doesn't work


sample of the File would be

^L^^ a control L and a RS or ASCII(30)




any help would be very appreciated.

solved
OK got it. I need to use the characters from the file I could not mock it up in vi for some reason I was unable to use the cntrl v ^ didn't like. I edited the input file took away the characters I need and ran this line

s/^L^^//g


cool nice to solve one before the tech on here made me feel like the junior member I am. hahaha
