Did your read the man page for fstab?

This is kind of a basic setup, there are other options you can do as well.

Code:
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows vfat defaults 1 0

Thanx squashman, your code worked beautifully. all my hd's can now be accessed. now moving on to another question . i've run up2date a couple of times and it's updated the kernel a few times. however as default my bootloader was set to windows being default. now it's the latest fc3 kernel. there's a list of like 10 kernels there and everytime a new one is installed, it becomes default. i want to find a way to maybe set windows to always default and get rid of some of the kernels from the list. thanx for all the help so far guys!!
