Disk Space Wrong I have a Slackware installation. Since a few days back, KDE and Gnome are both showing the free disk space on the linux partition as 127 MB when there's actually more than 500 MB free. The partition size is around 3.1 GB. the command "df" also shows it as 127.
And sometimes after i move large files from one partition to another, it shows the free disk space on the latter as the disk space before the file was moved, whereas on the former, the disk space is shown decreased. So i tried re-logging in, and then it showed the correct size on both partitions. even then the size on the linux partition is still 127.
can someone tell me what to do to get back my lost space??
