i cannot join my domain
now i have new pc(win2k).our main server is Redhat 9.0 with Samba Server.Now the problem is,i cannot join the domain but i still can view pc's in that the domain.when i want to join the domain with the root password,then it gave error that i use error username but i am very sure my login name and password are correct.how can solve this?

Did you create the machine account on the server.

yesss..i have created the machine name on server...but still not working.maybe you can give me the exact command to create the machine name on server...plzzz

That is kind of an odd response. If the creation of the machine name didn't work you would have gotten an error.
