"Pausing Points" in Gentoo Install Ok, i was going to do the entire gentoo install all at once, by following the printed handbook. Now, i am going to the movies with my uncle. I am planning ahead before i start the install. If anyone knows some breaking points where i can safely return to the install environment etc, without having to start over, and how to do that, it would help. I will probably get one or a few things done, return later, get more stuff done etc. Thing is computer still has to be acessible, in other words i have to shut it down and reboot back into windows for everyone else.
Where is it safe to shutdown and be able to come back to where i left off in the install, and how to do it.
Ask if you need clarification on what i am trying to accomplish
Thanx in advance.
