Exclamation Promote DC with DNS Server in Linux
Hi! I'm from Peru, I have a DNS Server in Linux that support 1200 user, I want to install Active Directory in a Windows 2003 Server. The questions are: What are the compatibilities with this 2 operating systems? and Where can I get information about the installation of Active Directory with DNS server in Linux, this is possible??
Thanks.

Activedirectory doesn't have much support on the linux side as far a s I know. Try reading this; http://www.securityfocus.com/infocus/1563

I think the best you can do is make the linux DNS the DNS server for the 2003 machine. That way it will query it for things it doesn't know about. I don't think the two will play nice together.
