Just installed Caldera Open Linux 2.3 on a different and seperate drive to Windows98. Want to play with it for a while before I get a divorce from Gates. Finally got a dual boot but now can't find any worthwhile instructions for setting up my HP LaserJet 4L. Can you give me some simple setup instructions or at least tell me where I can find them? I have installed WordPerfect for my word Processor and although I found it simple to set up in Windows - can get nowhere with this. Thanks.

The first place I would start is the printing HOWTO.

I would also check the HP website and look for anything Linux related.

The printing howto should give you a pretty good jump on things, as well as Caldera's website. I browsed around the site a bit, and it looks like you should be able to configure a printer during installation, provided you chose the "expert" install mode.

Hope this helps, let us know how it goes and if you have any more questions.

Mike

Well I looked in the places mentioned and also tried to get the answer from Caldera. Bottom line, I am giving up on Caldera and buying a Red Hat version.
