Suse Linux 9.2 personal web server?
Hi

I'm a complete linux newbie i've just installed suse linux 9.2 personal. However i'm trying to figure out how to setup a webserver, according the on-line documentation there should be an option in the Yast control center, under network services called "h.t.t.p Server Configuration" However, this is not present when i login on Yast. Does personal addition not support this or do i need to install somthing else??

Any advice would be most appreciated

Many Thanks

Matt

It may be that you need to have 9.2 Pro, but you can change your YaST installation source to make all the 9.2 Pro packages available to you. Just go to USALug and follow Xeroid's easy-to-understand howto. I'm not 100% certain, but, I think once you install Apache 2 via Yast, the Yast http server configuration module will then be available to you.
