I've downloaded firefox for linux into suse 9.1 - I can find the files (self extracting tar I think), view them etc. but can't figure out how to install the darn thing. Do I even want to do this? After all Konqueror is pretty good. Thanks for the help...

I dl'ed the rpm and think I've got it installed, which seemed to be easy, but I can't find it anywhere. I clicked on the rpm, a window opened asking if I wanted to install using yast, I clicked ok - something happened - a yast window appeared with nothing in it???? And nada...

Any Ideas? Scratch that!

I found it - big folder named firefox with all kinds of stuff in it - now how do I run/execute it?

Typing the word 'firefox' in a terminal gives me an 'error: failed to find a running server'...
Anyone?
