Exclamation Windows Xp losing connection to Linux Server
Hi.

Have this problem and any help would be great. Have a aLinux Redhat9 mail/internet server on a site, and users are running 98 machines.

Started upgrading to Xp, and then the problems started. Xp machines keeps losing their connection to the Linux server i.e. cant receive mail or browse the internet. For some reason the xp machines keep losing the IP connection.

Xp machines are set to static IP's and users have to keep changing IP addresses so the can re-connect to the linux server. Tried assigning automatically and no luck.

Disabled the Firewal on SP2 on Xp machines, but no luck (dont know much about linux).

Is it the firewall on the linux dropping the connection?

Any help.
Thanks!
