how to make bootable backup
I've got a crusty old PII running linux FC1 which does a bunch of stuff for my business, and would like to upgrade the box as it's becoming sluggish under its ever increasing workload.

Is there a way that I can create a bootable copy of the drive onto another disk and just slap that into the new box without having to mess about too much.

I've spent ages getting the thing working properly and to have to reinstall and reconfigure everything again seems like a really good reason not to bother upgrading.

any suggestions?

Could I just install FC1 on the new machine and then copy over all the relevant files from the old box?
