Someone else with your problem found this solution
Quote:
Problem Fixed:

Refered to the configure.sh file, and located references to an XVLIB. Punched XV into Synaptic Search and found a package "libxv1".

Installed it, re-ran ./configure and all is well.
What distribution of Linux do you run, btw?

Im running mandrake 10.1

i dont know where this package is and what to do with it?

there is only one type of the xlib file and its for debian by the looks of it.

i downloaded the file and from http://packages.debian.org/unstable/libs/libxv1

It doesnt seem to have a way to install the files.

Any suggestions?
