Wireless configuration
I am using Ubuntu linux on a partition on one of my hard drives, and the computer has internet access through a Belikin 802.11g wireless usb adapter. Now linux isn't picking this up, as it is not designed for linux OS's. It does come up in the device manager, but it simply says that it's a usb device and doesn't recognise it as a network adapter.
Anyone know how I could get it working?
thanks for any ideas.

Thanks for the link, but I'm having serious problems getting it to work. If I boot into ubuntu and try to run the package, it comes up with an error message. I also can't figure out what kernel version I'm running, but I think it's 2.4

right, I've been working on it and I think that I've got it narrowed down. In the instructions it says it needs a link to sources or something like that, but I don'rt have it, so it's coming up with an error message saying it can't find the link. Now, I've tried the command that they've suggested to fix it, but it doesn't work. anyone any ideas?
Cheers.
