Q on program install
Anyone else ever try a program named Tomboy, its a note-taking program that runs under gnome. http://www.beatniksoftware.com/

I ran the ./configure and got an error, the last few lines of the installer shows

Using config source xml::/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults for schema installation
Using $(sysconfdir)/gconf/schemas as install directory for schema files
checking for mcs... no
configure: error: Can't find "mcs" in your PATH

My question, what is MCS ??

Edit: MCS = part of mono, so you have to have mono installed first

Do you have mono, and do you have gtk#. Tomboy requires both.

Thx tsunam,

I have gtk, not sure (so I assume no) to mono. I'll check and see about getting mono then try again.
