Solved: Solved: Please need help
I decided to switch versions of linux and now I'm running kubuntu> the one problem I ran into is when it installed I don't have access to change stuff under ie root shell console. Is there anyone that can tell me how to find out my root password. I don't believe I changed it. So I need to know what the default one is if there is one.

Thanks in advance

You don't have a root password in Kubuntu unless you go in and make one.
To do anything you - sudo - instead of su - and use your regular login password.

You can create a root password by doing
sudo passwd root
