Help a Linux Newbie please.

I have a Celeron 700, 96mb RAM, Geforce MX, Linksys HPN100 NIC and a Sb Live! Value. And my problem is that none of these work! My distribution is Red Hat 7, and appearantly, Xfree86 4.0.1 (which came with RH) dones't support Geforce 2s, but 4.0.2 does. But all attempts to upgrade doesn't work. I've tried nVidia RPMs, don't work. I've been using a spare Ati Rage 128 to tinker with Linux, but this is unviable since i need my Geforce for Windows.

Second, i have a very nasty loophole. If i don't configure my NIC, i startup perfectly normal, but if i do configure it (using either lance.o or pcnet32.o, which hardware.redhat.com says to use for my card), then sendmail, nfslock, network, and something else which has slipped my mind for the moment fail to initialize.

Finally, and least important, my SB Live! I saw a guide @ Linuxnewbie about getting the card to work, and i've downloaded and followed the Instructions to the T, but i get an error message for every command it tries to process about CPU being a misdefined variable, or something along the likes (i'm too lazy to switch cards and verify it right now)

If you people do somehow help me alieviate my problems, i shall forever bow down to Tux and sacrifice him mackeral every day.
