Changing sound hardware
**I'm on mandrake**
I have two sound cards.
Sis (card w/ my asus m. board) and Sound Blaster: Audidgy
Mandrake uses sis as default, but i want to swich over to use my audigy card, and i can't find where to change it. Please help me!

go into terminal and type "alsaconf", when in the configuration options it should give you the option of which device you want to use, or you may have to load the SB drivers to your system.

you can find a linux driver for your card at http://www.soundblaster.com/support/

it doesn't work, but i used "harddrake" but i don't know how to make the aua. sound card the main one to use.... Uhg. Someone SAVE ME!

Did you enter the BIOS and disable the SiS onboard sound? Try that.

wait, so i and disable it, and force any os to use the other one?!
