Hi,

I've got a problem with gnome. I have a Gateway laptop running FC4, and when I log into gnome, 2 things always seem to happen:

1. OpenOffice.org writer starts up
2. there are no icons or backgorund present, just the panel

Also, if I try to logout/shutdown/reboot using the small door icon, the computer does nothing. I also get an error message every once in a while that says nautilus has crashed, and it asks me if I want to start it again. KDE still works though, if it helps.
