Getting started- partitions
New to Linux and I'm ready to take the linux plunge. I want to dual boot with win 9x. Windows is already installed on c: the 30 gb primary drive. The second drive is comprised of 2- fat32 40 gb partitions, d: and e:. d: is empty and I want to install Linux here. e: has 20+ gb of data on it and I don't want to move it. Can I safely install to d: without losing or moving my data?

Thanks
