When ever is start up linux, it gives tells me to input my verizon username and pw. Before this problem, i can normally boot w/o this problem. Also i can only type username and cannot type my pw. HELP me OUT!

Try to login as root or as the regular user you created during installation. I never saw where you needed to login with your dsl info. I think Verizon may be the hostname ( computer name). On (one of) my comps the login screen looks like this:

earth2 login:

Earth2 is just the hostname.

how can i log in a the root?!/User?!!!? I'm new at this. i'm think bout uninstalling linux, because it isn't compatable w/ my Multipass 390. (would it be hard for me to uninstall linux, the boot loader, and push the free space into the c drive?!)

The username is "root" and the password is whatever you set it to. Its like if your name is "root".
e.x.
Username: root
Password: **********

I've found one site that claims mp390 support(for a charge of course). I've never heard of the company and truefully doubt their claim. If you really want the link i'll give it though.
