I have installed Mandrake, it all went fine.
but when i got into X there was something wrong.
The display was very patchy and it looked like it was about to crash, lines were flashing all over the screen and when i opened a window it was very difficult to see it.
I set up the display in the instalation and it all seamed ok when i tested it. does anyone know what is wrong?
and how do i change the display properties, eg. resolution, colours, refresh rate, etc?
thanks

oh yeah, i have an AMD 500, 64mb ram, and a partitioned 10gig HD with windows 98 and linux mandrake installed.
