Distro for 128ram (Not DSL)
I want a powerful liveCD based distro that i can run on a 128ram pc. Any ideas?
Damn Small Linux is not powerful enough.

Knoppix, MandrakeMove, SimplyMEPIS.
Most LiveCDs will run on 128MB.

If you're running live, Feather Linux is pretty good on 128MB RAM, Puppy as well.

Why is'nt DSL "powerful" enough? Just what exactly are you looking for when you say "powerful"?
Linux, without a gui to encumber it, is mighty powerful.

RAM is the backbone of a LiveCD.

By "more power" I think you mean more features, and a slick GUI.
That's cool, but Knoppix-weight distros require a bit of RAM backing them up.
I think for Knoppix, 256MB is the recommended minimum.
