Question Quick Question
I have a friend who is wanting to use the tool "gparted" for making partitons and such for Linux, it is on the Ubuntu live CD. I am guessing this program is just like "Partition Magic" for Windows. Where it will let him resize partitions and such in Linux.

He was also wondering which FIle System Format should he use for the Linux partitions. (Example Windows XP: NTFS)

I know it is like the Linux FAT32 version thing but I'm bot sure what it is called. Can anyone help?

-Thanks for your time.

Most likely he'll want to use ext2 or ext3.
