Mouse not working in Fedora Core 4
I just installed Fedora Core 4 and everything went to some extent well except for the mouse. I have an old serial mouse on COM1 and Fedora just refuses to recognize it. I ran system-config-mouse and tried every option but it didn't work... I had the same problem with FreeBSD 5.1 but it could detect it when I chose "sysmouse" (or "mouse systems"?) in the config tool. Can it be because my mouse is so old (it's about 10 y.o.) that modern systems can't support this type?

Sorry, I bought a new PC and I don't have this problem anymore, though I got another one which didn't appear on my old PC. This thread may be closed/deleted.
