Mandrake 9 desktop changes from the terminal
Hi there,
Bizarre situation - I've found out my sysadmin is slated to upgrade the OS on my workstation while I am away out of the country. Thing is that a couple of my friends decided to put some joke images of a prof of ours on as the desktop background, and my Mandrake account has been left logged in.
Does anyone know a way that I can either change the desktop or logout the desktop via the terminal (that is, so I can do it remotely via SSH)?
I don't even think the sysadmin would care, but I'd certainly sleep better knowing my desktop wasn't active when he went to change things.
Thanks
Dan

If you use KDE, just delete the .kde directory in your /home/<username>/ directory. It will create a new one with the default settings.
If Gnome, I dont know.
